EARS® was developed to follow auditory skill development following cochlear implantation. There are seven tests of different linguistic levels which include five closed-set, two open-set and two questionnaires. It is suitable for children of different ages. The tests follow the auditory hierarchy from detection to discrimination to identification to comprehension. It includes normative data collected from over 700 children using cochlear implants.
