Lauren Beatty is a Teacher of the Deaf/ Hard of Hearing and LSLS Certified Auditory-Verbal Educator (LSLS Cert. AVEd) with over 10 years of experience teaching children and teens with hearing loss learning listening and spoken language. She received her Bachelor’s degrees in Communication Studies (SUNY Oneonta- 2009) and Communication Sciences and Disorders (University of South Florida-2011) and her Master’s degree in Deaf Education- Early Oral Intervention (University of Southern Mississippi- 2011). Lauren is currently a Consumer Engagement Manager in the Southeast Region for the MED-EL Corporation. Prior to joining MED-EL, she was an AVEd. for Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech Teletherapy program and Lead Teacher of the Deaf/HOH for a public school district in Florida.
