A Child’s Journey – Parent Checklist is a quick guide developed for caregivers to assist in monitoring their child’s auditory/receptive, expressive, and speech skills acquisition from birth to 6 years. The milestones for typically developing children were taken from A Child’s Journey. Three milestones are listed for each area in 6 month intervals from 1 year to 3 ½ years and yearly from ages 4 to 6.
